Positive and Negative Space

     This was a Graphic Design project focusing on positive and negative space. In my picture, I made two dolphins which made the shape of a fish. It's pretty simple, but I enjoyed doing it.

Graphic Design Final Exam

This was part of my final exam for Graphic Design. The point was to recreate a photo in under about 3 hours. Unfortunately, the photo we were assigned was not very detailed, so making a detailed copy was difficult.

White-tailed Deer

     This was a piece for my Graphic Design class. The point was to teach us to use illustrator to recreate a photo we found online. For my photo, there wasn't really a background, so I had to make it myself. I think this piece isn't that bad, considering that it was one of my first times using illustrator.

My First Project

     This was the first piece I ever did for this class. I really like the look of the dragon, but the person to the left should have had more detail. I also don't really have a specific story to this piece. In most of my art outside of class, I prefer to let people imagine what is going on in the artwork. This makes people see the same piece in a different way, and I always loved that. However, I avoid that in a classroom, because it can confuse people and make them irritated.

Collage

     This is a collage I created for art class. I knew that most people would make one based around the day, so I decided to do mine differently and center it around the night time. I have never used an oil pastel, so I don't find it surprising that this isn't one of my best pieces. However, I hope to improve it in the future.

Scratchboard Assignment

     This is the piece I made for the scratchboard assignment. I think It looks alright for my first time working with a scratchboard, but I'm not sure.
